Welcome to the Tabor Life Events Page. Throughout the year, the Tabor Life Institute holds a number of events all across the country. Check this page often for updates or sign-up for the Tabor newsletter to get the latest on all of our comings and goings!
The Marriage and Family ministry of the Ruthenian Eparchy of Parma, in cooperation with the Tabor Life Institute, offers two Pre-Cana weekends each year. The Spring Session is held the first weekend in May at St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Solon, OH. The Fall Session is held the first weekend in October at Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer Glen, IL. This preparation for marriage according to the Byzantine Rite is a two day event that helps the couple to see marriage and their relationship to one another in a whole new light. The fee for the weekend is $200 per couple, and includes program fees and some meals. Accommodations are the couple’s responsibility.
