Spring Pre Cana WeekendMay 4 & 5, 2024 - Pre Cana Weekend: Preparation for Marriage According to the Byzantine Rite
The Marriage and Family ministry of the Ruthenian Eparchy of Parma, in cooperation with the Tabor Life Institute, is pleased to bring you a Pre-Cana weekend, Saturday & Sunday, May 4th & 5th, 2024 – 12:30pm to 5:00pm. This preparation for marriage according to the Byzantine Rite will take place at St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church – 36125 Aurora Rd – Solon, OH 44139. The cost of this two day marriage preparation course is $200 per couple. This cost only covers the program fee and meals – accommodations are the responsibility of the couple.
If a man and a woman marry to satisfy their sexual appetites, or to further the material aims of themselves or their families, then the union is unlikely to bring blessings. But if a man and woman marry in order to be companions on the journey through earth to heaven, then their union will bring great joy to themselves and to other.
